Virtual IFB

Lessons for global practitioners

Social Impact Bonds (SIBs) are a well-known innovation in the West since they were first introduced in the UK in 2010; however, their potential in Asia is only now beginning to be realized. Can the emerging SIB market in Asia move us closer to achieving the SDGs?

This IFB session will bring together pioneering SIB practitioners from Korea and Japan to share their lessons learned and to opine on the growth potential of the market. Where are the untapped opportunities? What are the key success factors for SIBs in Asia? Are there unique socioeconomic or cultural barriers that necessitate a different approach or structure? Bridges Outcomes Partnerships will bring a global perspective to the discussion and serve as the session moderator.

Anyone interested in social impact, pay-for-performance solutions, or the impact space in North East Asia will find the session informative. Please join us!

Speakers:

  • Sieun Ha, Project, Manager at Pan-Impact Korea
  • Jae Hoon Kwak, CEO of Pan-Impact Korea
