1st Impact for Breakfast The Netherlands

Discussion about national and global perspectives

Impact Investing
NOUN
im·pact in·vest·ing

Impact investments refers to investments made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact alongside a financial return. Impact investments can be made in both emerging and developed markets and target a range of returns from below market to market rate, depending on investors' strategic goals.

Impact does not mean the same for everyone, but what does it mean for your organisation?

Having attended many briefings with both the London and Zurich groups since Impact for Breakfast’s inception, two Dutch-based members decided to launch a local chapter. The impact investment sector is, of course, well-established here, and many IfB members attend meetings in different cities. Given the wealth of experience at a national and international level, we are pleased to provide a space to develop best practice and identify new opportunities in the Netherlands.

Join us in this discussion to explore with colleagues in the sector how we define, measure, compare, monitor and report impact.

Speakers:

  • Jorim Schraven - FMO's IESG Director
  • Yvonne Bakkum -  Managing Director, FMO Investment Management
