The financial world isn't working for women and girls. One billion women around the world cannot access loans, markets, or business training. In most cases, they are unable to open a bank account. But when women have financial agency and access, they invest in their households, businesses, and children, ultimately creating a future without poverty and hunger.
Grameen Foundation is a global non-profit that uses technology and innovation to transform ecosystems so that women and girls can claim their full power, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty and hunger. Grameen uses a gender-first approach to ensure our partners understand the barriers faced by women (in all their diversity) to formal financial services and rural market systems, transforming systems that prevent them from realizing their full power.
Join Grameen Foundation’s President and CEO Zubaida Bai to hear about her background as an engineer- turned-global women's advocate and social entrepreneur, and how Grameen Foundation is working actively to reach the most vulnerable and ignored women and girls around the world.
