Explore How Three Pioneering Ventures Are Revolutionizing Education and Creating Stable Employment for Youth

One of the greatest challenges in fighting absolute poverty is equipping young people with the necessary skills to earn a living after their basic education. This is why the elea Foundation for Ethics in Globalization invests in impact ventures that offer market-oriented, practical 21st-century skills training for motivated youth from low-income households, creating pathways out of poverty. Join us for an engaging Impact for Breakfast session at elea’s offices or online, where we will spotlight three inspiring elea portfolio ventures leading innovative education initiatives that provide sustainable pathways out of poverty.

In this session, you'll hear from:

  • Adam Collier, Co-founder & Co-CEO at BluLever, on how their apprenticeship model is transforming the blue-collar sector in South Africa.
  • Zhihan Lee, CEO and Co-Founder at Bagosphere, on how they empower low-income youth in the Philippines with professional training, giving them access to jobs in the booming BPO industry.
  • Paula Cardenau, Co-Founder and Director of Arbusta, on how they equip young people in Latin America with IT skills, opening doors to stable employment in the tech sector.

Why Attend: Many young people, particularly in low-income countries, face immense barriers to quality education and job-ready skills, leaving them trapped in a cycle of poverty. With over 25% of youth in low- and middle-income countries not in education or employment, the need for innovative solutions is urgent. This session will explore how these pioneering education models are bridging the skills gap, equipping young people with practical, employable skills, and breaking the cycle of poverty.
