Navigating Uncertainty and Building Resilience in Times of Change

Dear Friends in Impact,

Today we find ourselves at a critical juncture in the international development space. Recent actions by the administration, notably the dismantling of USAID, have signaled a seismic shift for those of us working in international develop. For many of us, this change intensifies existing challenges and creates new uncertainties in our mission to drive sustainable impact around the world. In the coming months, when resources are strained and traditional pathways are in flux, it is more important than ever that we come together as a community—sharing insights, strategies, and support—to navigate these uncharted waters.

In light of these challenges, we’re shifting our focus for our next event to a topic that we think will resonate with many of you: Navigating Uncertainty and Building Resilience in Times of Change.  We hope you will join us at GW University on March 13 from 8-10am for this special session.  As usual we will start with coffee, light breakfast, networking, and and support.  Then our very own Alix Zwane will share her firsthand experience navigating political transitions in Great Britain during her tenure as CEO of Global Innovation Fund. She will then host a fireside chat with Ricki Seideman, a seasoned veteran with broad experience in strategic communications and strategy. Ricki’s specialties include solving short and long term communications challenges, developing public affairs strategies and new narratives, campaign planning and execution, and crisis management. Anticipate a candid discussion on adapting in unpredictable times.

We would also like to thank our GW Sponsors, John Forrer and Steve Lipper for helping coordinate this event.

We hope to see many of you next week.
