Embedding ESG in Private Equity

Join us for the eighth edition of the Impact for Breakfast SF Chapter. We'll discuss the extent to which environment, social, and governance issues are embedded in private equity from a regulatory and compliance perspective.

Trysha Daskam, Director & Head of ESG Strategy at Silver Regulatory Associates LLC, will share how ESG theory collides with regulatory filings and compliance requirements for regulated funds and advisors in private equity. Trysha will talk us through how ESG is evolving in private equity:

  • What are the differences and similarities between "impact" and "sustainability"?
  • Is there an increasing trend toward ESG integration in funds?
  • What are the limitations for ESG integration in investor disclosures?
  • How do compliance requirements clarify ESG objectives for the manager?
  • What regulatory changes in the US/EU/UK are helping or hurting ESG integration in private equity?
