25 trillion dollars are missing! That is the “investment gap” stated for achieving the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. ImpactN believes in order to close such a wide gap we need - new mechanisms to create more viable projects and more visibility of existing projects - innovative ways of funding and more investors for social impact. Join us on 10th May to discuss with ImpactN their approach to a community-based ecosystem, which aims to give everybody the possibility to invest time, talent or money in SDG-related projects. ImpactN seeks to combine the social power of networks with the economic power of blockchain, following the idea of a purpose-driven economy. Our speaker Jan Schröder, cofounder of ImpactN, will focus on - practical examples, illustrating how to set up a platform, specifically addressing Millennials as co-creators of social impact - new forms of impact investment enabled through blockchain and token economics. Jan holds a PhD in high energy physics, he is head of a consultancy focussing on social impact management and social innovation and an early adopter of blockchain for SDG.
