We are brining Impact for Breakfast to Algarve as we have the pleasure to secure a spot on the Opportunity Collaboration, taking place in Albufeira on November 5th.
OC is a 3 full-day collaborative summit, all-inclusive and uniquely designed to help delegates forge alliances and advance organization’s social impact initiatives.
Impact for Breakfast is organising Local Impact Program with the support of Impact Hub Lisbon, where guests will have the opportunity to join a walking tour and understand more about the Loulé Criativo hub, and enjoy a networking moment in a local café.
During Thursday, 5th afternoon we will have real conversations, peer exchange, and connecting with fellow social impact leaders who are navigating similar challenges. See details below.
As speakers to our session, we have social entrepreneurs with a mix of local and national projects, for-profit and not-for-profit, at all stages:
Meeting point at 1:30 p.m. at the Club Med Baldaia Albufeira. Here’s the local impact program for the afternoon of Thursday, November 5th:
1:30-2:00 p.m. Participating Delegates will meet at the main Reception of Club Med Da Balaia.
2:00-2:45 p.m. Transfer via bus to Loulé Criativo, an initiative that values the Algarve’s identity, driven by creativity and innovation. It supports artisans and professionals in the creative sector, revitalizing traditional arts and promoting new ways of exploring the heritage of the region.
2:45-4:30 p.m. A walking tour in small groups to visit local artisans, tracing the roots of the Algarve's living heritage, from ancestral trades like palm weaving, copper work, and esparto grass to contemporary ceramics, luthier studios, and textile arts. This experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at local workshops and creative spaces where master artisans are keeping time-honored traditions alive through modern innovation. Experience the authentic pulse of Loulé, meet the makers, and see how craftsmanship continues to define the identity of the region.
4:30-5:30 p.m. Enjoy light bites and sips of the local flavors of the Algarve at the historic Cafe Calcinha, founded in 1929
5:30-6:00 p.m. Return to Club Med Da Balaia
In addition to this cultural excursion, we are thrilled to be joined by these local impact leaders.
