Impact for Breakfast during UNGA & Climate Week NYC

Join us for an insightful panel, discussion, and networking

Join us during UNGA 79/Climate Week for a special Impact for Breakfast event focused on the future of ESGs and financial industry practices. Learn, network, and contribute to advancing the ecosystem’s understanding and adoption of the most effective ESG frameworks.

Impact Hub New York Metropolitan Area and the Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy & Finance at Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs are collaborating on a new initiative to understand how financial industry professionals incorporate sustainability metrics and ESG ratings into investment decisions.

Over the last 15 years, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing has significantly transformed, driven by heightened awareness of sustainability issues, regulatory changes, and evolving market dynamics. As the financial landscape evolves, understanding how investment professionals use sustainability metrics and environmental impacts to inform or even guide capital allocation decisions is more crucial than ever. The survey will help us to gather insights from industry leaders like yourself on the following key topics:

  • The integration of ESG criteria into investment strategies

  • The role of climate data and sustainability metrics in decision-making processes

  • Challenges faced in aligning investment portfolios with ESG principles

  • Future trends in sustainable investing and capital allocation

We believe this work is imperative to help tackle the existential challenges confronting our generation, and your participation is essential.

The breakfast will provide the opportunity to hear from an expert panel that will unpack the current progress of ESG investments, as well as discuss leading tools, trends, and challenges related to the wider adoption, regulation, and measurement of ESGs.

Afterwards, we will officially launch the survey. Attendees will have the first opportunity to complete the survey before deliberating the content with peer industry experts in groups. Participants will exchange notes as well as network over coffee and light breakfast.

We aim to build a community of practice and invite those to attend for future engagements around this topic.
