Concrete innovative solutions for impact investments for Swiss foundations

Impact investing can create additional sources of revenue as well as opportunities to expand and scale impact for non-profits. Recent years have seen the non-profit sector (including NGOs, foundations and philanthropists) start to engage with the financial industry to develop new investment vehicles, with an increase in the creation of blended financing models, the development of social impact bonds, and SDG-aligned bonds. Non-profits play a key role in impact investing by developing new models of collaboration with financial institutions, helping for Impact investing can be an effective way for non-profits to generate additional revenue and expand their impact. In recent years, the non-profit sector, including NGOs, foundations, and philanthropists, has started collaborating with the financial industry to create new investment vehicles. This has led to the development of blended financing models, social impact bonds, and SDG-aligned bonds. Non-profits play a crucial role in impact investing by collaborating with financial institutions to create new models, developing impact strategies, evaluating impact, providing technical assistance, and aligning their endowment or pension funds with impact considerations.

As part of the "Impact for Breakfast" initiative, Alphamundi and iGravity have organized and hosted several webinars for foundations, philanthropists, and NGOs. The webinars aim to provide insights into the various avenues for engaging in impact investing. We have hosted four successful online events in the past year and are excited to announce the fifth edition, which will take place live.
