Showcasing the link between philanthropy and impact investing

Tim Radjy, Founder of and a Managing Partner at AlphaMundi Group Ltd (AMG) in Switzerland since 2008, Chairman of the SocialAlpha Investment Fund (SAIF) SICAV-SIF, and the Chair of the Investment Committee of the AlphaJiri Investment Fund (AJIF), will share his view on the role of impact investing in achieving the SDGs. He will share examples of taking companies to scale through impact investing, as well as showcase the link between philanthropy and impact investing with an example of a catalytic grant from their foundation in Africa.

Tim RADJY is the Founder of and a Managing Partner at AlphaMundi Group Ltd (AMG) in Switzerland since 2008, the Chairman of the SocialAlpha Investment Fund (SAIF) SICAV-SIF launched by AMG in Luxembourg in 2009, and the Chair of the Investment Committee of the AlphaJiri Investment Fund (AJIF) registered in Mauritius in 2019. Since 2009, AMG has profitably invested more than USD 120 million in some 60 impact ventures in Latin America and Africa, through private debt and equity.

Tim serves as the Treasurer of the AlphaMundi Foundation 501c3 (AMF) in Washington DC since inception in 2017, which has allocated some USD 4M in grants to date. In 2022 Tim joined the Board of Directors of the non-profit Latimpacto, the premier network of impact-driven investors in Latin America. In 2023, he joined the board of the Peace Nexus Foundation in Switzerland, chairing its Finance Committee. Tim formerly served as a Vice-President of Sustainable Finance Geneva and helped the association launch the Gender Lens Initiative for Switzerland (GLIS) in 2021 to enhance Switzerland’s contribution to SDG5
