Identifying investment opportunities in the Philippine Food System

This 3rd Impact for Breakfast Manila, hosted by IISLA Ventures, aims to gather like-minded individuals and organizations working towards building an innovative, sustainable food system that will feed the Philippines and the world.

We believe that existing paradigms must shift with regards to food production and nutrition in the Philippines, as lifestyle diseases become more prevalent.  Even as Filipinos become more aware of healthy eating and sustainable production methods, investment remains sorely lacking. 

Solutions must address universal and affordable access to nutritious food. Solutions must benefit all stakeholders including farmers, fishermen and small food producers. Solutions must reduce food waste throughout the value chain.

All this to ensure that no one is left behind to suffer from hunger or want.
