Innovative solutions for impact investments for Swiss foundations

The "Impact for Breakfast" a global network of practitioners and host of the "Mission Multiplier" led by iGravity in partnership with Alphamundi, proudly presents the "Mission Multiplier" series. Designed specifically for foundations, philanthropists, and NGOs, these events aim to illuminate the diverse paths available in impact investing. Since its inception in 2022, "Mission Multiplier" has successfully hosted five sessions, creating a platform for open dialogue and collaboration among peers in the philanthropic community. Each event features esteemed speakers from prominent organizations such as Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Optimus Foundation, WWF, Good Energies Foundation, AquaForAll, Hecks/Eper, Jacobs Foundation, among others. These speakers share cutting-edge practices and innovative developments, fostering an environment of learning and exchange tailored to foundation professionals. This series serves as an educational conduit, enabling foundations to both present and gain valuable insights, thereby amplifying their collective impact.

This invitation-only event is curated for 25-35 select foundations that are deeply committed to or have a keen interest in impact investing. The session will feature a series of distinguished speakers presenting case studies and dynamic approaches to furthering philanthropic goals through strategic investments.

Key Presentations Include:

• Program-Related Investments for Foundations: Bacomab's Approach Presented by Guillaume Taylor, Finance Workgroup Lead for Suisse Romande at SwissFoundations, this segment will showcase how Bacomab leverages program-related investments to achieve philanthropic objectives, offering insights into practical implementation and success stories.
• De-risking as a Strategy for Scaling Catalytic Solutions Guillaume Bonnel, CEO of the SDG Impact Finance Initiative (SIFI), will discuss innovative techniques to minimize risks while amplifying the impact of investments that support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), thereby catalyzing broader change
• Impact solutions for foundations Catriona Gourlay, Executive Director of the Peace Nexus Foundation, will share her expertise on developing impactful investment strategies that align with the mission of philanthropic organizations to foster peace and sustainable development
